Tangente is probably the best-known German wristwatch and has been impressing with its clarity and elegance for over 30 years. The high-quality textile strap in light gray underlines the dynamic character of this colorful special edition. It is tailor made for NOMOS Glashütte in France.
The slender typography of Tangente and the dial with the traditional sub-seconds dial are unmistakable and yet come into their own in every color composition.
Dusky pink, framed by dark gold, with hour numerals and markers in royal blue. The sub-seconds is cream-colored, also with blue indexes.
The date background is beige with black numerals. The generous date window at 6 o'clock is a consequence of the design of DUW 4101: the date ring is not placed on the watch movement, but rather around the outside of the movement.
Inside ticks the handcrafted date movement DUW 4101 with the NOMOS swing system, regulated according to chronometer values for the special edition. The name of the watch and the limited edition engraving can be found on the back.
Tangente is famous for this elegant profile: the flat stainless steel case with angled lugs is only 6.8 mm in height, even with the date mechanism.

Safety instructions
NOMOS uses 316 L stainless steel for all cases and buckles. This type of stainless steel is not fully free of nickel, but it does not pass nickel on to the skin; the amount of nickel in the alloy is about 12 percent. Thus, the amount of nickel passed to the skin is less than 0.2 micrograms per square centimeter per week and far below the medicinally acceptable amount. Other stainless steel alloys might have a lower percentual amount of nickel in the alloy, but they pass more of it on to the skin.
