Can I order a watch to try for size?
We understand purchasing a watch requires plenty of consideration: After all, it’s going to tick on the wrist for a lifetime. That’s why it’s important—and prudent—to try on a watch first. Only then can you see if and how it fits on the wrist. This is quite a simple task when done at your local retailer, and it’s virtually just as easy when you buy online.
There are a few things to keep in mind. We recommend treating the watch as an expert store salesperson would: The watch should always be set down on a clean and smooth surface—preferably on the NOMOS polishing cloth that the watch is sent with. You should also avoid scratches by always paying careful attention when rotating the watch. It’s also okay to fasten the watch strap—unless of course you like to remain extra cautious. However, trying on the watch does not involve wearing it in a manner as though it is your own. A store would also not accept this treatment.
If a watch is not handled with care and returns to us in the NOMOS Store with signs of usage, then we have to invoice you for the service costs required to restore the watch to its original condition.
You can return your order within 14 days and we will refund you the full purchase price if you are not satisfied.
Can I exchange or return a watch?
It happens every now and then: The selected model doesn’t quite suit your wrist as you thought it would. Just get in touch with us. We’ll gladly help you to return your order to us free of charge, and we’ll return your payment. We honor a 14-day right to cancellation on all orders.
How long is the warranty?
Your watch comes with a warranty of two years from the date of purchase, during which time we will rectify all defects that are not the result of damage free-of-charge, as a matter of course. And even after that, we will try to help as quickly and fairly as possible.
Can I make any special requests for my watch?
As we aim to keep our collection as compact as possible, we are only able to offer a limited range of customizations. These do not include changes to the dials or similar.
Can a laser engraving be carried out on the back of a watch?
Yes, this can be easily done with almost all NOMOS models.
Are watches purchased directly cheaper?
NOMOS Glashütte always offers the recommended retail price that also applies to other retailers. This is the only way that we can keep watch prices and sales transparent and reasonable.
Do any additional costs apply to an order?
The NOMOS Store sells under the same conditions that apply to NOMOS retailers in their respective countries. We ship delivery duty paid, and so we pre-pay any applicable import taxes or duty on your order when it is shipped. Your order will go from Germany to your door without additional import fees.
For U.S. customers: Some localities in the United States may collect a use tax from individuals for goods or services purchased online from other states or countries. To find out if this might apply to you, consult your local tax authority.
How can I redeem a voucher?
There is a small field during the order process for redeeming a voucher. Simply enter the code on your voucher and click on “redeem voucher.”
Can I collect my watch personally in Glashütte?
Yes, that's possible. You can come visit our flagship store in Glashütte and collect your watch there. Please call in advance so we will have your watch ready for you.
Why aren’t all watches available to order immediately from the NOMOS store?
Sometimes it is unfortunately the case that you may have to wait for your desired model to become available again. The long delivery times are due to the very high demand for certain models. New models in particular are sometimes in short supply. We always try to match production to demand, but as a watchmaking company that creates the majority of parts by hand, we can only produce a certain amount of watches at a time. NOMOS timepieces cannot be produced in much larger quantities overnight—quality craftsmanship, created by hand, simply takes time. When you have seen the finished product, you will understand what we mean. And perhaps this anticipation makes waiting just a little bit sweeter.

Will my order come with the latest NOMOS catalog?
When you order your watch from the NOMOS Online Store, it will be sent to you in either a wooden NOMOS box or a leather case, depending on the model. Enclosed you will also find the cleaning cloth and the completed warranty booklet, stamped by the NOMOS Store. With every order we also include our latest catalog as well, so that you might learn a little more about your watch as well as others.
