The typography of Tangente date Dunkelbunt in orange and blue is reminiscent of lanterns swinging above party guests in the darkness of a pretty, tipsy summer evening. During the day, Tangente date Dunkelbunt makes a striking first impression, while remaining reliable, relaxed, and straightforward.
Tangente is probably the best-known German wristwatch and has been impressing with its clarity and elegance for over 30 years. The high-quality textile strap in dark gray underlines the dynamic character of this colorful special edition. It is tailor made for NOMOS Glashütte in France.
The slender typography of Tangente and the dial with the traditional sub-seconds dial are unmistakable and yet come into their own in every color composition.
The black of the dial often appears almost blue and has a beautiful depth in all lighting conditions. The hour numerals and seconds indexes are orange, the hour indexes are blue and the minute track has creamy white markings.
The date background of Tangente date Dunkelbunt is also black, while the numerals on it are creamy white—like the "Made in Germany" lettering, which is located on the outermost edge of the dial below the date window.
Inside ticks the handcrafted date movement DUW 4101 with the NOMOS swing system, regulated according to chronometer values for the special edition. The name of the watch and the limited edition engraving can be found on the back.
Tangente is famous for this elegant profile: the flat stainless steel case with angled lugs is only 6.8 mm in height, even with the date mechanism.
