Your tasks

• You will work in our chronometry department and be responsible for assembling the regulation system, as well as the pre-setting and fine adjustment of our in-house built calibers.

Your tasks

• You will work in our chronometry department, where you will be responsible for assembling and regulating our in-house built calibers, setting the hands, or encasing our watches.
• A later assignment in our service department, where you will carry out repairs and revisions, is also possible after a thorough induction.

Who we are looking for

• At the time of recruitment, you will have successfully completed your vocational training as a watchmaker and have already gained initial experience in the assembly of various types of mechanical watches.
• You are confident and skillful with spiral pliers.
• You have good analytical skills and have an instinctive feel for the position of movements.
• You are motivated, enjoy watchmaking as much as we do, and acquire new knowledge quickly.

• You are responsible for the assembly and regulation of NOMOS calibers, both with and without complications

Who we are looking for

• You have successfully completed your vocational training as a watchmaker and have already gained experience in movement and watch assembly or in servicing various types of mechanical watches.
• You are good at analyzing functions, enjoy tracking down even the smallest errors, and feel comfortable and confident in complex work processes.

NOMOS Glashütte is a German manufacturer of high-quality mechanical watches that is expanding its presence in the North American market. We want to grow our NYC-based team and offer an entrepreneurial environment with a particular focus on quality and customer service, as well as a strong career development.

Your position

You will be part of NOMOS’ US team, working to support our retail partners and ensure the smooth running of sales and sales support in North America through regular communication and collaboration.

Tasks will include

• Ensuring high quality support for retail partners via phone and email, and in person when the need arises.
• Conducting brand trainings and presentations for existing retailers and new acquisitions via Zoom/Teams and in-person.
• Explore, develop and implement changes to increase in-store visibility and sell-through (including training and case space negotiation)
• Reviewing sales data against forecasts; generating sales reports for the executive team.
• Management of CRM platform and guaranteeing detailed and up to date data.
• Supporting and planning events with retail partners.

Requirements

• Excellent B2B communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant experience
• Experience using CRM and enterprise/order processing software
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Knowledge of German is a plus
