The rotor works efficiently under the white silver-plated dial. From the other side, you can watch it through the sapphire crystal glass back.
Ludwig features Roman numerals, but with IIII instead of IV. This follows watchmaking traditions—and the preferences of the NOMOS design team.
The soft side of Ludwig: the lugs fit perfectly snug to the wrist.
Ludwig automatic is somewhat larger than the original version, and appears a little more robust. That means it is not only fluent in Latin, but also versed in late Roman martial arts.
