Square watches simply look better on some wrists. That’s why we have Tetra 27, the smallest watch from NOMOS Glashütte. Each side measures 27.5 millimeters—which, roughly calculated, makes love squared. A multiple prizewinning and classic hand-wound watch with a white and gray silver-plated dial and tempered blue hands; a timepiece for life.
White silver-plated, with a dash of gray on the dial—some only spot its square form on the second or third glance.
The hands shine cornflower blue—entirely without lacquer or coloring. According to old watchmaking traditions, they receive their color by being heated to 290°C.
At the heart of this watch, the NOMOS Alpha caliber is at work—creating a beautiful profile when viewed from the side.

One of our smallest: The edges of this Tetra measure 27 millimeters. That’s just enough space for our hand-wound caliber Alpha underneath, which gives this watch its elegant and very slender form.

Safety instructions
NOMOS uses 316 L stainless steel for all cases and buckles. This type of stainless steel is not fully free of nickel, but it does not pass nickel on to the skin; the amount of nickel in the alloy is about 12 percent. Thus, the amount of nickel passed to the skin is less than 0.2 micrograms per square centimeter per week and far below the medicinally acceptable amount. Other stainless steel alloys might have a lower percentual amount of nickel in the alloy, but they pass more of it on to the skin.
