Minimatik is a dress watch for every occasion—and especially for special ones. The generously proportioned dial with integrated sub-seconds, rhodium-plated hands, and modern typography is given the finishing touch with a classic detail at 3 o'clock: the date window featuring a golden chamfer. It also pays tribute to the hand-crafted date caliber that is at work inside this hand-wound watch, with a date ring in the same color of deep blue as the dial. DUW 4601, made by NOMOS in Glashütte, Germany, to keep time with exacting precision.
The stainless steel case tapers gently towards the dial side. The black leather strap, crafted from Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan, is soft and comfortable to wear on the wrist.

The sub-seconds dial at 6 o'clock is integrated into the gently domed dial, while the minute track features numerals in intervals of five. An essential detail: "Made in Germany" is inscribed under 30.
DUW 4601 is a hand-wound date movement from NOMOS Glashütte with opulent polishing. The fine sunbeam ribbing extends to the edge of the date ring plate, and is clearly visible through the large sapphire crystal case back. The patented technology of the date mechanism underneath is no less striking.
An elegant profile is a typical characteristic of all NOMOS watches. With a diameter of 39.5 millimeters and a quick-set date mechanism, this hand-wound Minimatik is still just 7.5 millimeters in height.

This date caliber effectively showcases the NOMOS swing system, our proprietary escapement. This innovative component with a blue balance spring is surrounded by fine sunbeam ribbing. It not only enhances the three-quarter plate, which is a traditional feature of Glashütte watchmaking, but also incorporates the plate of the date ring around the movement. To make the NOMOS swing system even easier to observe, the balance cock has been elegantly skeletonized. And that's just the exterior of this fine movement. The picture does not show the mainspring barrel, which can store power for 52 hours. The quick-set date is also particularly convenient. You can easily jump forward in time with just a few turns of the crown. To do so, the crown must be pulled into the second of three positions.
