Metro date power reserve, designed by Mark Braun, is young and sophisticated, yet Glashütte through and through. The power reserve indicator doesn’t only remind wearers when to rewind, it is also one of the design features. Others include hands as fine as quill tips and colorful hour indexes. And the hand-wound NOMOS caliber DUW 4401 is within, setting the pace, equipped with our proprietary escapement.
Prizes and awards
Good Design, Red Dot, German Design Award: Metro is wrapping one design prize jury after the other around its wrist.
Impression
Smart, slender, mechanical: With a 37-millimeter diameter, Metro date power reserve commands more space on the wrist but remains exceptionally slender, despite its complications. It flatters the wrist and eye alike, suiting him and her.
