NOMOS Glashütte has been accepted into the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH)—and its watches are now available with Bucherer

Timepieces from NOMOS Glashütte’s workshops in Germany are now available with Bucherer Jewellers in Switzerland. Following Bucherer’s locations in Germany, Bucherer Switzerland is now launching this innovative brand in Jelmoli on Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse. NOMOS CEO Uwe Ahrendt is delighted: “It is a real recognition of our brand, since Switzerland is considered to be watchmaking’s ‘large canton’.”
NOMOS Glashütte is one of the few owner-operated watchmaking companies in Germany: All its calibers are designed and built in-house; including the ticking heart of every watch—the escapement. The prices of these timepieces are also remarkable, at between 1000 and 4000 CHF, excluding a small selection of gold models.
The brand’s launch in Switzerland is complemented by the news that it has just been selected as a ‘Perimeter Brand’ by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH). The FHH, the foundation and organizer behind the Geneva watch salon, promotes the interests of the traditional heritage of fine watchmaking.
