Super slender and large, masculine and competent—the Glashütte watchmaking company presents its new classic series of men’s watches for the office

Glashütte/Berlin, October 2017

New classic watches with a twist: Whether in the UN assembly, a design studio in Melbourne, or an office somewhere in Brussels—the new series from NOMOS Glashütte is a promotion for the wrist. Based on the models Tangente, Metro, Orion and Tetra (and yet entirely new), the At Work series comprises: 14 watches—large, striking, and ultra-thin.

All of the At Work models not only offer the perfect proportions, they also speak to the wearer’s taste—in watches as well as life. And style: With a diameter of 39 millimeters and an elegantly thin case, these timepieces sit smartly under the cuff and still look magnificent in more casual, tie-free office spaces or during after work occasions. The eye-catchers of the series are the models in the new color silvercut. The silver-gray dial is created after a nine-step process: the gold- and rhodium-plated blank is varnished and wet- blasted repeatedly, removing a thousandth of a millimeter every time. So it’s not only the watch that is precision trimmed until it is slender, but the dial too.

In addition to the silvercut models there are versions in the classic NOMOS colors white silver-plated and midnight blue. A particular upgrade is the Metro model in rose gold. When it comes to style and elegance this watch takes the lead. The multiple award- winning Metro design hasn’t changed, but it is now in a case of 18 karat gold.

Every model of the At Work series has one thing in common: the high-end automatic caliber DUW 3001—the tenth in-house built movement from the watchmaking company. Ultra-thin and highly precise, it guarantees performance without getting too big for its boots. Manual timepieces from NOMOS Glashütte already count among the classics in the world of fine watches; with DUW 3001 and a design aesthetic inspired by Bauhaus and the Deutscher Werkbund, the automatics from NOMOS are on the way to becoming classics too. Meaning they are a sound investment for our customers as well.

The watches of the At Work series are available from now on at selected retailers.
