A perfectly matched duo, they are also accomplished soloists. Orion 33 gold and Orion 38 silver bring a shine to people’s eyes, and not just when the gifts are unwrapped. The back of the case has room for a personal message to accompany the wearer for life.

Orion up-close

Gold shimmers and brightens the room when light reflects off Orion. As with all NOMOS watches, Orion 33 gold is made in the high standards of Glashütte tradition whilst retaining a very modern look. This extremely precise timepiece is secured with a bracelet of fine gray velour leather.

Shining beneath the domed sapphire crystal glass is a gold-plated dial, galvanized and polished to gleam.

Harmonious down to the last detail: Delicate minute markers in dark brown and exquisitely faceted, with rhodium-plated indices set slightly inward.

Orion 38 silver is both distinguished and reserved. This elegant watch leaves a radiant impression, even on the most ordinary days.

The case with its fine bezel is protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass. Gleaming and plated in white silver, the dial curves gently inward toward the minute markers.

Eleven gold-plated indices offset the tranquil tone of the dial. Below the finely grooved small seconds dial, a dot marks six o’clock.

The motor

Alpha

Alpha is the hand-wound movement by NOMOS Glashütte, fine-tuned in six positions for utmost precision. The caliber draws on a reliable power reserve of up to 43 hours. The rhodium-plated surfaces of the movement are decorated by hand with the Glashütte ribbing and NOMOS perlage. Tempered blue screws represent the 175 year-old tradition of Glashütte watchmaking.

The Alpha caliber is NOMOS Glashütte’s highly acclaimed classic. It was our first movement—and the one that still powers more of our watches than any other.
