Description

Haute horlogerie, made in Germany. A caliber that counts among the very best that has ever come from Glashütte: NOMOS’ manually-wound DUW 1001 movement is constructed according to the laws of Glashütte watchmaking and produced in the NOMOS Atelier exclusively for the gold model Lambda. It is a work of art in itself—with 29 jewels (six of them in polished and screwed gold chatons), a double mainspring barrel and so a power reserve of 84 hours, as displayed by the power reserve indicator.

This means it only requires rewinding twice a week. The elegant swan neck fine adjustment, the beautiful fine sunbeam ribbing, the hand-engraved balance cock (which quite rightly reads “lovingly produced in Glashütte“) and the hand-beveled edges ensure the high precision of the mechanical movement’s perfect overall impression. We can’t think of anything better and more beautiful.
