The in-house built caliber is produced with an extremely high degree of effort: Screwed gold chatons, beveled edges, a twin mainspring barrel—it is practically a celebration of the finest Glashütte watchmaking. Hand-engraved on the balance cock: “Lovingly produced in Glashütte.”
“Lovingly produced in Glashütte” is individually hand-engraved onto the balance cock. A greeting that also proves that the best is often hidden from sight.
The dial only shows half of this watch’s beauty. Visible through the sapphire crystal glass, the caliber DUW 2002 displays fine sunburst polishing, gold chatons, hand-beveled edges, swan neck fine adjustment, and the hand-engraved balance cock.
