Love at second glance too: This Tangente with a diameter of 37.5 millimeters has two date displays in red that complement each other harmoniously. The exclusive NOMOS ring date—in a hand-wound watch for the first time here—shows the entire month; meanwhile, the large date window at 6 o'clock focuses on the current date. At midnight or when the quickset function is activated, the two displays set the white silver-plated dial with rhodium-plated hands in motion in a way that is doubly beautiful.

Tangente with its straight, slim case, angled lugs, thread hands that are typical for NOMOS, and narrow serif font has long been a beloved watch model. As the Tangente 2date, it is now a dating pro.

The hand-wound DUW 4601 caliber with a patented date mechanism ticks within. The date ring around the movement makes the dual date display possible—the ring date around the dial's edge and the generous date window at 6 o'clock.

The grooves on the traditionally recessed sub-seconds dial are called azurage. The seconds hand is rhodium-plated and the differing shape of the indexes here adds an additional accent.

Innovation is precision work, both in the movement and in the design: the two date displays come particularly close together below the sub-seconds dial. The trapezoidal date window has therefore been reproportioned and the "Made in Germany" lettering repositioned.

All NOMOS watches are fitted with sapphire crystal glass over the dial. This material is perfect for watches because it is heat-resistant and scratch-proof; only diamond is harder. In Tangente 2date, the sapphire crystal glass is also anti-reflective coated on the inside—both above the dial and on the case back.

Always astonishing: the slim silhouette of the mechanical watches from NOMOS Glashütte. Tangente 2date makes its presence felt without being bulky, and also perfectly complements more formal outfits.
