Ihre Aufgaben

• Sie sind für die Instandhaltung und Wartung der Maschinen, Anlagen und mechanischen Arbeitsmittel zuständig, die in der Uhrenmontage einen reibungslosen Arbeitsablauf sicherstellen.
• Sie beheben Fehler und Störungen, analysieren die Ursachen und dokumentieren diese. Reparaturen führen Sie eigenständig durch und lassen sich ggf. vom Hersteller unterstützen.
• Sie organisieren Ihren Arbeitsbereich (Werkstatt) eigenständig und kümmern sich um den Werkzeugbestand und die Bevorratung von Ersatzteilen.

Wen wir uns wünschen

• Sie haben eine Ausbildung als Mechatroniker, oder vergleichbar, abgeschlossen und Erfahrungen im Bereich Elektrotechnik und Elektrik sammeln können. Auch gelernte Uhrmacher mit Berufserfahrung im o.g. Aufgabengebiet sind herzlich willkommen.
• Sie arbeiten analytisch und strukturiert und finden auch unter Zeitdruck pragmatische Lösungen für Probleme.
• Es ist Ihnen sehr wichtig, Aufgaben eigenverantwortlich anzugehen. Sie sind kommunikativ und arbeiten mit anderen Abteilungen und Lieferanten gut zusammen.

• A later assignment in our service department, where you will carry out repairs and revisions, is also possible after a thorough induction.

• You are responsible for the assembly and regulation of NOMOS calibers, both with and without complications

NOMOS Glashütte is a German manufacturer of high-quality mechanical watches that is expanding its presence in the North American market. We want to grow our NYC-based team and offer an entrepreneurial environment with a particular focus on quality and customer service.

Your position

You will be part of NOMOS’ US team, working at the digital purchasing and after-sales experience of our customers and are responsible for their satisfaction.

Tasks will include

• Competent advice and support for our national and international customers by e-mail, on the phone or via chat as well as sometimes in person
• Ensuring smooth order processing, working closely with other teams and locations in Germany
• Handling all administrative and organizational tasks, related to order processing and customer satisfaction
• Evaluating your customer contact experience with a view to improving the sales and after-sales experience and our workflows

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing service role either in person or via digital channels
• First work experience in the described area
• Excellent B2B and B2C communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience with QuickBooks, Shopware or related order management software
• Skilled in working with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of German is a plus

As the ideal candidate, you are:

• An excellent communicator and an organized team member with diligence and great attention to detail
• Customer oriented with a focus on prompt and considerate communication
• A self-starter and quick thinker who can manage themselves independently
• Results driven team player
