For this special edition of the hand-wound Tangente 38 date model, numerous elements of the dial have been individually matched to the character of the watch. 31 special models for every day of the month, 31 different personalities—each limited to 175 pieces. Tangente date Zirkus looks cheerful and familiar—and yet it takes a step back. A feat that is perhaps rarely achieved, a triple somersault for a watch that makes us magical.

Tangente is probably the best-known German wristwatch and has been impressing with its clarity and elegance for over 30 years. The high-quality textile strap in dark gray underlines the dynamic character of this colorful special edition. It is tailor made for NOMOS Glashütte in France.

The slender typography of Tangente and the dial with the traditional sub-seconds dial are unmistakable and yet come into their own in every color composition.

The soft creamy white of the dial forms the circus ring, over which the big top spans in blue (outer and minute rings) with a brick-red tip (small seconds). The minute and second indexes are also creamy white.

The large date window at 6 o'clock allows for a perfectly legible display. The date numerals are black, as are the hour numerals and hour markers.

Inside ticks the handcrafted date movement DUW 4101 with the NOMOS swing system, regulated according to chronometer values for the special edition. The name of the watch and the limited edition engraving can be found on the back.

Tangente is famous for this elegant profile: the flat stainless steel case with angled lugs is only 6.8 mm in height, even with the date mechanism.
