For this special edition of the hand-wound Tangente 38 date model, numerous elements of the dial have been individually matched to the character of the watch. 31 special models for every day of the month, 31 different personalities—each limited to 175 pieces. Tangente date Ariel reminds you of far-away places, the wide open sky, and the vastness of space. But also of cool spring days, when the sky shimmers gently through the skylight. The watch unfolds its complex effect on almost all wrists, where it appears calm, content, and smart.

Tangente is probably the best-known German wristwatch and has been impressing with its clarity and elegance for over 30 years. The high-quality textile strap in dark gray underlines the dynamic character of this colorful special edition. It is tailor made for NOMOS Glashütte in France.

The slender typography of Tangente and the dial with the traditional sub-seconds dial are unmistakable and yet come into their own in every color composition.

With the sand-colored main dial, an ice-blue minute ring and all time markings in black, this model has a natural and harmonious look. The cream-colored index ring of the sub-seconds dial is a special feature.

The date window on NOMOS date watches can be surprisingly large because it is right on the edge of the dial. And this is possible because the date ring is not placed on top of the movement, but rather around it. This guarantees excellent legibility, as seen here with black date numerals on a silver-white background.

Inside ticks the handcrafted date movement DUW 4101 with the NOMOS swing system, regulated according to chronometer values for the special edition. The name of the watch and the limited edition engraving can be found on the back.

Tangente is famous for this elegant profile: the flat stainless steel case with angled lugs is only 6.8 mm in height, even with the date mechanism.
