Autobahn
Fast paced and forward looking

Werner Aisslinger and NOMOS Glashütte have designed a sophisticated watch for the new neomatik caliber with a date function—with clear forms, steep curves, novel displays, perfect surfaces. All these elements create a sense of motion.
Details
Unmistakable, in series

Clear and reliable, with depth and complexity as well: Every aspect of this watch appeals. The exactingly perfect forms of the dial and case reflect the skill contained within—German engineering and watchmaking from Glashütte.

Bold curves, unusual depths, displaying time on many levels: The dial of Autobahn introduces new dimensions. Here, in sports gray.

Yesterday, today, tomorrow: the three-lane date window. Generously proportioned, unmistakable. And ideally positioned at the edge of the dial—a sign of the outstanding mechanics from Glashütte within. Namely its NOMOS caliber, designed and built in-house.

Sits with presence on the wrist; a robust case and sophisticated dial. Autobahn is an eye-catching watch with a water resistance of 100 meters. Also clear to see here: the curve of the dial and sapphire crystal glass.

For long nights: Autobahn midnight blue displays the time in the dark as well—thanks to the luminous ring of large superluminova fields on its dial.

Autobahn by NOMOS Glashütte is an essential timepiece. Its simplicity is astonishingly complex.
Werner Aisslinger is one of the most renowned designers working today. His often very artistic creations are on display around the world. And now on the wrist—as a watch.

"The aim was to create an archetype. Something to withstand the test of time."
Technology
Large, slender, highly precise: the new automatic caliber is called neomatik

The latest caliber from NOMOS Glashütte is ticking in Autobahn: neomatik date (DUW 6101). The new date mechanism can be set quickily and easily in both directions. This large caliber is only 3.6 millimeters in height—or in other words, very thin.
