Watch assembly

To turn a precisely regulated caliber into a wristwatch, a case, dial, hands, and a strap are needed. As well as extreme care in handling the unprotected movement. After the watch movement has been encased, and you can see if it has become a Metro, Tangente, Club, or Ludwig, the accuracy is checked once again. And, of course, the water resistance and full functionality of the complications are also checked.
The dial is placed on the caliber; here it is the dial of Metro date power reserve on DUW 4401.
The right hands for the watch are attached with spring pliers; here, the characteristic NOMOS thread hands are added to Tangente.

The watch is then encased. The shape of the case is different for each NOMOS model.
